By using GoodySearch you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

What GoodySearch is

GoodySearch is an iOS/iPadOS/macOS/visionOS app and supporting backend that lets people (we call them seekers) discover local events, and lets event hosts (we call them organizers) list events and broadcast live status. We provide the platform; the actual events, products, and services are organized and delivered by the organizers.

Your account

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, email support@goodysearch.com immediately.

Acceptable use

Don’t use GoodySearch to:

• Post events or content that’s illegal, fraudulent, or misleading.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract data from the service.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of the service or surrounding infrastructure.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code through the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We reserve the right to remove content that violates them or that we otherwise judge harmful to the service or its users.

Organizer responsibilities

If you list events as an organizer, you confirm that:

• You have the right to host the event at the location you’re claiming.
• The information you publish (date, time, location, contact) is accurate.
• Any offerings you list are real and available as described.
• You’ll respect seekers’ privacy and applicable consumer-protection laws.

Seeker responsibilities

Information about events comes from organizers and from third-party sources. We work hard to keep it accurate, but we can’t guarantee it. Verify critical details (admission, cost, parking) with the organizer before relying on them.

Premium subscriptions

GoodySearch Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks Plan Ahead. Subscriptions are billed through Apple at the price shown in-app and auto-renew until cancelled. Manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

Intellectual property

GoodySearch, the GoodySearch name and logo, and the app and website designs are our property. Content you publish remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it through the service for as long as it’s published.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information shown will be perfectly accurate or current.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, GoodySearch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Changes

If we update these terms we’ll change the “last updated” date and notify you in-app for significant changes. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California.
